A Small Test Area

Jerry did a small test ares today just to see how paint cured etc.

The colour finally chosen was good old Magnolia or BS4800 08 B15 if you prefer.

Conditions permitting the cabin sides will be fully painted tomorrow.

    What paint system is it? epoxy primer and 2 pack polyurethane top coat?

    First treated with Vatan type product, then a heavy coat of zinc phosphate primer 5L each side , then 2k high build epoxy primer another 5L each side, then 2k acrylic top coats 4 coats using about 2L a side.

    So about 25L of paint in all to do both cabin sides.
